1

Proverbs|1:1 Proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel;

Proverbs|1:2 To receive wisdom and instruction; perceive words of understanding;

Proverbs|1:3 Train yourself in wisdom, justice, discernment and righteousness;

Proverbs|1:4 To give wisdom to the simple, and knowledge and understanding to the young.

Proverbs|1:5 The wise will hear and increase knowledge; and the prudent will resort to wise counsel:

Proverbs|1:6 To understand a proverb and its interpretation; the words of the wise and their dark spells.

Proverbs|1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs|1:8 My son, obey your father's law and do not forsake your mother's law.

Proverbs|1:9 For they will be an ornament for your head and chains for your neck.

Proverbs|1:10 My son, if sinners deceive you, do not agree.

Proverbs|1:11 When they say: Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us secretly lie in wait for the innocent without cause:

Proverbs|2:1 My son, if you accept my words and hide my commandments from you;

Proverbs|2:2 so that you incline your ear to wisdom and turn your heart to understanding;

Proverbs|2:3 Yes, when you cry for knowledge and raise your voice for knowledge;

Proverbs|2:4 If you seek it like silver and seek it like hidden treasures;

Proverbs|2:5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and you will know God.

Proverbs|2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth proceeds knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs|2:7 He prepares sound wisdom for the righteous; he is a shield for those who walk in integrity.

Proverbs|2:8 He keeps the ways of judgment and keeps the ways of his saints.

Proverbs|3:1 My son, do not forget my law; but keep the heart of my commandments:

Proverbs|3:2 Long days and long life and peace they will give you.

Proverbs|3:3 Mercy and truth will not forsake you; tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart:

Proverbs|3:4 You will find favor and grace in the eyes of God and men.

Proverbs|3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and don't trust your own judgement.

Proverbs|3:6 Know him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs|3:7 Do not be wise in your own opinion; fear the Lord and turn away from evil.

Proverbs|3:8 It will be healthy for your navel and marrow for your bones.

Proverbs|3:9 Honor the Lord with your riches and with the firstfruits of all your produce.

Proverbs|3:10 So your barns will be filled with abundance and your presses will make new wine sprout.

Proverbs|3:11 My son, do not neglect the discipline of the Lord; do not tire of his admonition:

Proverbs|3:13 Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, and he who has acquired understanding.

Proverbs|3:14 For the trade in it is better than the sale of silver, and the profit from it is better than pure gold.

Proverbs|3:15 More precious than rubies; and anything you could wish for is no match for it.

Proverbs|3:16 The length of days is in his right hand; and in his left hand wealth and glory.

Proverbs|3:17 His ways are pleasant ways, and all his paths are peace.

Proverbs|3:18 It is a tree of life to those who cling to it; and blessed is he who possesses it.

Proverbs|4:1 Listen, children, to the teachings of your father and try to understand them.

Proverbs|4:2 For I give you good teachings; don't give up my right.

Proverbs|4:4 He also taught me, saying, Hold fast my heart to my words. Keep my commandments and live.

Proverbs|5:1 My son, consider my wisdom and incline your ear to my understanding.

Proverbs|5:2 That you may be wise, and your lips may keep knowledge.

Proverbs|5:3 For the lips of a foreign woman are thin as a honeycomb, and her lips are smoother than oil:

Proverbs|5:4 But its end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

Proverbs|5:5 His feet fail in death; His footsteps seize hell.

Proverbs|5:6 If you do not reflect on the path of life, its paths are changeable and you will not be able to discern them.

Proverbs|5:7 Hear me now, children, and do not depart from the words of my mouth.

Proverbs|5:9 You shall not give your honor to others, nor your years to the cruel!

Proverbs|5:10 So that strangers may not be filled with your riches; and your work in a foreigner's house;

Proverbs 5:21 For the ways of a man are before the Lord, and he considers all that he does.

Proverbs|5:22 His own iniquities will befall the wicked, and he will be bound with the cords of his sins.

Proverbs|5:23 He will die without learning; and in the greatness of his foolishness he will stray.

PROVERBS|6

Proverbs|6:1 My son, if you are guarantor for your friend, if you have hurt the hand of a stranger,

Proverbs|6:2 The words of your mouth catch you, the words of your mouth catch you.

Proverbs|6:3 Do it now, my son, and save yourself if you fall into the hands of your friend; Humble yourself and take care of your friend.

Proverbs|6:4 Do not let your eyes and eyelids fall asleep.

Proverbs|6:5 Escape like a deer from the hunter's hand, and like a bird from the hunter's hand.

Proverbs|6:6 Go to the ant, lazy; Consider his ways and be wise:

Proverbs|6:29 So is he who goes to his neighbor's wife; Whoever touches them will not be innocent.

Proverbs|6:30 A thief is not despised if he steals to feed his soul when he is hungry;

Proverbs|6:31 But if he is found, he shall return seven times; He must give away all the possessions in his house.

Proverbs|6:32 But he who commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; whoever does so destroys his own soul.

Proverbs|6:33 He will have a wound and a shame; and his shame will not be erased.

Proverbs|6:34 For envy is the anger of man; therefore, he will not forgive on the day of vengeance.

Proverbs|7:1 My son, keep my words and keep my commandments.

Proverbs|7:2 Keep my commandments and live; and my right as the apple of my eye.

Proverbs|7:3 Tie them to your fingers and write them on the tablet of your heart.

Proverbs|7:4 Say to wisdom: You are my sister; and she compassionately calls your loved ones:

Proverbs|7:5 To get away from the strange woman, from the strange woman who flatters with her words.

Proverbs of Solomon|7:6 Through the window of my house I looked through the window frame,

Proverbs|8:15 By me kings rule, and princes judge justice.

Proverbs|8:17 I love those who love me; and those who seek me early will find me.

Proverbs|9:1 Wisdom has built her house, she has shown her seven pillars:

Proverbs|9:2 He slaughtered his cattle; she mixed her wine; She also set her table.

Proverbs|9:3 She sent her maidservants; shouts in the highest squares of the city,

Proverbs|9:4 Let the simple come here. And whoever he wants to understand, he says:

Proverbs|9:5 Come, eat my bread and drink the wine that I have prepared.

Proverbs|9:6 Leave fools and live; and walk the path of understanding.

Proverbs|9:7 He who rebukes a mocker will be put to shame; and he who corrects the wicked, he himself will defile himself.

Proverbs|9:8 Do not blame the scoffer, lest he hate you; he blames a wise man and he will love you.

Proverbs|9:9 Teach the wise and he will be wiser; teach the just, and he will increase in knowledge.

Proverbs|9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs|9:11 For by me your days will be multiplied, and the years of your life will be increased.

Proverbs|10:4 He who works with a weak hand becomes poor; but the hand of the laborer enriches.

Proverbs|10:5 He who gathers in the summer is a wise son; but he who sleeps in harvest time is a shameful son.

Proverbs|10:6 Blessings on the heads of the righteous; but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

Proverbs|10:7 Blessed is the memory of the righteous; but the name of the wicked will wither.

Proverbs|10:8 The wise in heart shall receive the commandments; but the stammering fool will fall.

Proverbs|10:9 He who walks upright walks securely; but whoever perverts his ways will be recognized.

Proverbs|28:21 Being respectful of persons is not good; because for a piece of bread man sins.

Proverbs|28:22 He who wants to get rich has an evil eye and does not think that poverty will come upon him.

Proverbs|29:6 In the transgression of the wicked there is a snare; but the righteous rejoice and rejoice.

Proverbs of Solomon|30:1 The words of Agur the son of Jake, a prophecy: A man spoke to Itiel, and Itiel, and Ucal,

Proverbs|30:2 Truly, I am more brutal than any other man, and have no understanding like man.

Proverbs|30:3 I have not learned wisdom or sacred knowledge.

Proverbs|30:4 Who has ascended or descended? Who gathered the wind into fists? Who bound the waters with a cloak? Who founded all the ends of the earth? What is his name and what is his son's name if he knows it?

Proverbs|30:5 Every word of Allah is pure; he is a shield for those who trust in him.

Proverbs|30:6 Do not listen to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.

Proverbs 30:7 Two things I have asked of you; do not deny me before you die:

Proverbs of Solomon|30:8 Take away vanity and falsehood from me; do not give me poverty or wealth; Give me food that is right for me:

Proverbs|30:9 Lest I be satisfied and deny you, saying, Who is the Lord? that is, I impoverish, steal and take the name of my God in vain.

Proverbs|30:10 Do not accuse your master's servant, lest he curse you and be found guilty.

Proverbs|30:11 There is a generation that curses its father and does not bless its mother.

Proverbs of Solomon|30:12 There is a generation that is clean in its own eyes, but it is not clean from its impurity.

Proverbs|30:13 There is a generation, how sublime are their eyes! and his eyelids rise.

Proverbs|30:14 There is a generation whose teeth are like swords and jaws like knives to devour the poor of the earth and the needy.

Proverbs of Solomon|30:15 Horse liquor has two daughters who cry: Give, give! There are three things that are never fulfilled, yes, four things that are not said: Enough:

Proverbs|30:16 The grave; and barren womb; land that is not full of water; and the fire that does not say enough.

Proverbs|30:17 The eye that mocks its father and disobeys its mother, will be torn to pieces by the ravens of the valley, and eaten by the young eagles.

Proverbs|30:18 There are three things that are too wonderful for me, and four things that I do not know:

Solomon's Proverbs|30:19 The way of the eagle in the air; path of snakes in the rock; path of the ship in the middle of the sea; and the manners of a man with a slave.

Proverbs|30:20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; She eats, wipes her mouth and says: I did nothing wrong.

Proverbs|30:21 For three things the earth is troubled, and for four it cannot suffer:

Proverbs of Solomon|30:22 For a servant when he reigns; and a fool when he is full of meat;

Proverbs|30:23 For a hated woman when she is married; and the servant heiress of her mistress.

Proverbs|30:24 There are four small things on earth, but very wise:

Proverbs|30:25 Ants are a weak people, but they prepare their food in the summer;

Proverbs|30:26 The cones are a weak people, but they build their houses on the rock;

Proverbs|30:27 Locusts have no king and all come out in droves;

Proverbs|30:28 The spider takes her by the hand and dwells in the palaces of kings.

Proverbs|30:29 Three things are right, yes, four are right:

Proverbs of Solomon|30:30 The lion, the strongest of beasts, departs from no one;

Proverbs|31:1 Words of King Lemuel, a prophecy that his mother taught him.

Proverbs|31:2 What, my son? What, son of my womb? And what, son of my vows?

Proverbs|31:3 Do not give your strength to women, nor your ways to those who destroy kings.

Proverbs of Solomon|31:4 Not to kings, O Lemuel, not to kings to drink wine; still strong drink for princes:

Proverbs|31:5 lest they drink and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of some of the poor.

Proverbs|31:6 Give strong drink to the dying, and wine to the heavy-hearted.

Proverbs|31:7 Let him drink and forget his misery and remember his misery no more.

Proverbs|31:8 Open your mouth to the mute, because of all those who are destined to perish.

Proverbs|31:9 Open your mouth, judge justly and plead for the poor and needy.

Solomon's Proverbs|31:10 Who will find a chaste wife? for the price of it, it far outweighs rubies.

Proverbs|31:11 Her husband's heart trusts in her, so she needs no loot.

Proverbs|31:12 All his life will do him good and not harm.

Solomon's Proverbs|31:13 He looks for wool and flax and likes to work with his own hands.

Proverbs|31:14 It is like merchant ships; He brings food from far away.

Proverbs|31:15 He rises while it is still night and gives bread to his house and a portion to his servants.

Proverbs|31:17 He will gird up his loins and strengthen his shoulders.

Proverbs|31:18 She knows that her wares are good; her candle does not go out at night.

Proverbs|31:19 She puts her hands on the spindle and her hands hold the spinning wheel.

Proverbs of Solomon|31:20 He stretches out his hand to the poor; yes, he reaches out to those in need.

Proverbs|31:21 He is not afraid of snow in his house; for all his house is clothed in scarlet.

Solomon's Proverbs|31:22 He makes rugs; His clothes are silk and purple.

Proverbs|31:23 Her husband will be known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land.

Proverbs|31:24 He makes fine linen and sells it; and deliver the belts to the merchant.

Solomon Proverbs|31:25 Strength and honor are his garments; and he will be happy in the future.

Proverbs of Solomon|31:26 He opens his mouth with wisdom; and in his language is the law of goodness.

Proverbs|31:27 He keeps the rules of his house and does not eat the bread of idleness.

Proverbs|31:28 Their children rise up and call them blessed; also her husband, who praises her.

Proverbs|31:29 Many daughters have made virtue, but you excel them all.
